Acclaimed Singer/Songwriter Lisbeth Scott and Eclectic Percussionist Greg Ellis Join Together as biomusique

Kosmic Music announced a new collaboration between percussionist Greg Ellis and acclaimed singer/songwriter Lisbeth Scott - the two are releasing their debut album "10,000 Steps" as "biomusique" on May 13th. The songs range from poignantly moving to serene and radiant, weaving a richly textural tapestry of emotion and sound – a "sonic sculpture," as Ellis describes it.

Both Ellis and Scott have long been contributors of note to major film music; Greg's prolific work has shaped the sound of such films as the “Matrix” series, “Fight Club,” “City of Ghosts,” “Dukes of Hazzard,” “Brave Story,” and “300,” among others, in addition to his work with Azam Ali as VAS, while Scott's includes music for “Narnia,” “Shrek,” “The Passion of the Christ” (for which she received her first gold record) and Spielberg's “Munich.”

didn't Lisbeth scott also colaberated with Peter Buffet's on his christmas album? or am I thinking of someone else?

Kev: It was Kim Robertson who worked with Peter on the Christmas album. Lisbeth has also collaborated with Paul Schwartz on the "State of Grace" CD's. She also has her own album out called "Passionate Voice". thanks for checking in!
